First swimming experience

Well this is going back a little to when my grand-daughter was slightly above 2 months old. Her parents took her to Singapore for the Chinese New Year holidays. They stayed at a relative's house which is equipped with a swimming pool. So here my grand-daughter had her first taste of swimming. According to her parents she enjoyed herself. For that matter children always enjoy playing with water and therefore I am not surprised that she enjoyed herself.

Favourite posture

My grand-daughter likes to lie on her stomach instead of lying on her back. I am wondering whether this is because we put her to sleep lying on her stomach. So the moment she gets up she is already in this position. Now that she knows how to turn, each time we make her lie on her back, she will immediately turn. Anyway we have many memorable moments playing with her while she is in this posture.

Now at five months she is able to raise her buttocks and be on her hands and knees for short periods. I guess soon she will be able to learn to sit and then to crawl.

Around 4 1/2 months she learns to pull her legs and the nearest she got is about 1 inch away from her month. Soon it is going to be "toes licking good"!
